Novena for our NFP Apostolate \u2013 Day 5<\/strong>
\nAdoration, Contrition, Thanksgiving, Supplication<\/p>\n

Psalm105:41, 107:33-37<\/span><\/strong>
\nHe split the rock and water gushed forth;<\/span>
\nit flowed through the desert like a river<\/span><\/p>\n

God changed rivers into desert,<\/span>
\nsprings of water into thirsty ground, <\/span>
\nFruitful land into a salty waste,<\/span>
\nbecause of the wickedness of its people. <\/span>
\nHe changed the desert into pools of water,<\/span>
\narid land into springs of water, <\/span>
\nAnd settled the hungry there;<\/span>
\nthey built a city to live in. <\/span>
\nThey sowed fields and planted vineyards,<\/span>
\nbrought in an abundant harvest.<\/span><\/p>\n

We Adore You, O Christ, and We Bless You, Because by Your Cross You Have Redeemed the World<\/span><\/p>\n

Contrition<\/span><\/strong>
\nLord, you gave us the privilege to be pure fountains of living water, to marry and image divine life, to create eternal souls. Lord, thank you. But our nation and culture has fouled its wells and said bad water is good, and death is life. Our houses of worship once vibrant are shuttered; many children long for their parents. Forgive us. In our apostolate we turn to you for strength, to un-foul the wells, to set aright the homes, to return the peoples to true worship. Help us more.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lord you have given us great intercessors, thank you.<\/span>
\nSt. Anne\u2019s thirst. Jesus said from the cross \u201cI thirst.\u201d God is the same yesterday as today, in him there is no changing; God has always thirsted for us. St. Anne participated in the thirst of God when she prayed for a child. God wants us to share in his divine life, to thirst with him for souls, for everlasting and infinite joy. We ask St. Anne to intercede for us, that we might thirst with God for souls, split the rock of hardened hearts and see our nations families growing. St. Anne, mother to the mother of God, grandmother to God, bend Jesus\u2019 ear for us, ask him to bless our NFP ministry, and to bless us with fertile hearts.<\/span><\/p>\n

CCL\u2019s family prayer: <\/span><\/strong>
\nLord God, you called us into communion with you, whether in celibacy or in holy matrimony, to reflect your love in a life of service. In a world which has grown blind to the beauty of your creation, help us to live the love with fidelity and fruitfulness.<\/span>
\nSend your Holy Spirit to give us the courage to speak the truth, and faith so that we are not discouraged.<\/span><\/p>\n

We entrust the work of the Couple to Couple League to your care. Make us good stewards and credible witnesses. May we always be faithful to you.<\/span><\/p>\n

We seek the intercession of Our Lady of Guadalupe, St. Joseph, Sts. Joachim and Anne, and St. Gianna Beretta Molla. May they and all the communion of saints intercede on our behalf to Jesus Christ, the Lord of Life.<\/span><\/p>\n
