God (who is Love) desired to be one with us! So Love became one of us. By becoming a human person Love gave dignity to humanity. God’s was not a partial gift! It was a full gift. He even gave his life!
If I am to become one with my spouse to image Love to the world, shouldn’t I be as sincere as God? Why do we promote natural family planning (NFP)?…so that Love can be given sincerely, without duplicity, without undoing or negation. So our embrace can be as sincere and as pure as God’s; and our souls will be refreshed by our embrace.
